It's All About Leadership

Success is determined more by the quality of leadership and team dynamics than any other factor.

That's what I learned from working in international disaster relief in places like Kosovo, Southern Sudan, and Indonesia. My work with all kinds of organizations across a broad spectrum of industries has reinforced this.

Organizations with effective leaders-those who care about the ones they serve-are able to grow and improve. Organizations without effective leadership continue to struggle.

It all comes back to leadership. Regardless of the type of organization, leadership is the key. Lack of good leadership is the root cause that underlies all other major organizational problems.

It's clear then how to make organizations more successful: Improve the leadership and everything else improves as they do. I enjoy working with leaders who are driven to pursue their best-personally and for their teams. That's why I've dedicated my life to helping others lead well.

Growth, while exciting, also creates uncertainty or instability. Some people resist change; others will just not contribute. Some will engage in sabotage, and others will just choose to go elsewhere.

My approach is tailored to meet the needs of you, the client. That means you won't see a cookie-cutter process or methodology. Instead, I offer results-and as my client, you define what those results should be. You may decide to measure progress in terms of revenue growth, profits, and valuations-but whatever metric you choose, you should expect to see a dramatic return from your investment in a short timeframe.

Most important, when you work with me, you'll find you have both more discretionary time and a sense of personal peace while watching your company grow profitably.

We Work Together as a Team

First, we get to know each other. I want to understand your needs, your situation, your goals, and any obstacles you see in your way before we decide how to work together.

Once we've agreed on the scope of our work together, I'll prepare a proposal for a complete engagement to accomplish the goals we've defined. I don't charge hourly rates.. There's never a meter running when you work with me.

As we work together, I'll identify where things are going well and where additional work is needed. I'll help you recognize progress, and encourage you when you feel a bit lost. You'll cultivate better self-awareness-as it relates to your ability to achieve your goals, live a balanced life, and relate well to those around you.

Most of my clients end their engagements by dramatically increasing both their productivity and their discretionary time. They accomplish more while doing less-and they do it with much less stress and anxiety.
