A Christmas Wish For You

Merry Christmas!christmas 2021

Christmas is a busy time of year. It is also a reflective time.

A time to think back over the previous year. A time to consider my aspirations and intentions for the year to come.

As I reflect, one sentiment stands out – and that is gratitude.

I’m grateful for and to my clients. I have the opportunity to work with people I like and respect. I work with leaders who care about their employees and customers. People who work hard to take care of others and care about the quality of work and service they provide.

I’m grateful to my readers. Readers of these articles. Readers of my books. I’m amazed to hear from people around the world who’ve somehow come across something I’ve written.

It’s gratifying to receive notes and feedback. I’m glad that some of what I’ve offered has helped you in your leadership journey.

I’m grateful to my wife, Marta. She’s had an unblinking belief in me that held me up in the early years. I don’t know that I would be here now if it weren’t for her support.

I’m grateful for Jesus Christ – who we remember during Christmas.

It is not always considered politic to acknowledge the person for whom the holiday is named. But I feel it’s silly to do anything less.

I’m grateful for the peace, the joy, and the hope that He represents.

Christmas Wishes

I’m sometimes introduced as a business consultant. And I do, mostly, work within businesses.

But business is only a context. I work with people, their relationships, aspirations, dreams, struggles, and hopes.

It’s an honor to be invited into each of these situations. An honor I take seriously.

A major theme in all my writing and consulting can be summed up as, “We are responsible for our influence and we influence more than we think.”

My wish to each of my clients and readers is, truly, that you will experience peace and joy in the coming year.

Neither peace nor joy just happens to us. We influence the degree to which we experience them.

They are choices. We choose to live at peace and in a state of joy. We choose to offer an opportunity for both to others.

My hope for you is that you discern your path to increased peace and joy this coming year.

Take good care,

Christian
